Designed by John Van Koert in the mid 60’s is this recreation of his Danish mid-century modern side table. It’s built of rift-sawn Walnut with Sapele legs, and finished with Rubio Monocoat Walnut for a matte finish.
When I first saw this piece in a museum photo I couldn’t draw my eyes from it. So simple yet so cleverly constructed. Actually 2 tables combined to make one. I love the lines and simple curves and the net result is a masterpiece.
